ETP Treatment Flow Process
Preliminary Treatment & Equalization
Wastewater from all departments is collected and homogenized in an underground equalization tank
Bar screen removes larger solids
Oil and grease trap eliminates floating contaminants
Air agitation ensures uniform mixing
Chemical Treatment & Coagulation
Effluent is transferred to a flash mixer where coagulants are dosed
Dosing is automated via precision dosing pumps
Air agitation in dosing tanks enhances mixing efficiency
Coagulated water flows into a clari-flocculator
Clarification & Sludge Separation
Flocculants promote settling of impurities into sludge
Tube settler with inclined PVC TubePac media ensures high-efficiency solid-liquid separation
Sludge is directed to sludge drying beds or a filter press
Dewatered sludge cakes are sent to PCB-approved disposal sites
Filtration and Disinfection
Treated water is stored in a treated water holding tank (TWHT)
Water passes through a Dual Media Filter (DMF) to remove TSS
Further treated in Activated Carbon Filter (ACF) to eliminate color, odor, and organic traces
Optional chlorine dosing for microbial safety
Reuse or Disposal
Treated water can be reused in non-critical operations or discharged for horticultural applications
